Ubisoft has established a new game studio!

Ubisoft, one of the giants of the gaming world, announced that it has established a new game studio called Vantage Studios to manage its largest and most popular series more effectively. This new structure will oversee the entire development process for flagship brands such as Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, and Rainbow Six.

Vantage Studios is based on Ubisoft's creative production model, the “creative house” system. The company aims to centralize both the technical and creative processes of games through this studio.

The studio, which currently has 2,300 employees, will continue its operations in many different locations around the world. The studio's teams are based in the Canadian cities of Montreal, Quebec, Sherbrooke, and Saguenay, as well as in Barcelona and Sofia in Europe.

The new studio's management team includes some big names. The studio's CEOs are experienced Ubisoft executives Christophe Derennes and Charlie Guillemot. Charlie Guillemot is the son of Ubisoft founder Yves Guillemot, highlighting this move as one that shows the company is giving more responsibility to young leaders within the company.

Another noteworthy detail in this new structure is the Tencent partnership. Chinese tech giant Tencent will hold a 25% stake in Vantage Studios. Through this strategic partnership, Ubisoft aims to secure significant financial backing while also strengthening its position in global markets, particularly in Asia.
