An unexpected announcement from Krafton and PUBG Studios. A brand new tactical shooter set in the world of PUBG is coming. PUBG: Blindspot will offer a different experience from the battle royale formula.
PUBG: Blindspot demo will be released this month
Instead of the open-world combat of PUBG, PUBG: Blindspot 5v5 will feature tactical gameplay with a top-down view. Players will be tasked with completing an objective by breaching a single zone. The game will feature many different modes, including Team Deathmatch and Annihilation missions on various maps. Additionally, 10 characters will be available to players, each with their own weapons and tools for strategic attack.
An official release date has not yet been announced. However, a playable demo of Blindspot will be available for Steam users starting February 20th. This demo coincides with the Steam Next Fest event, which runs from February 24th through March 3rd.
Krafton said, “This is an exciting new direction for the PUBG series. Blindspot offers a fresh, more strategic gameplay experience that we believe will resonate with both longtime players and newcomers to the series.”
