The fighting game MultiVersus also failed to achieve the expected success and caused significant damage to the company. David Zaslav, CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, admitted that they “underperformed potential” in the gaming industry.
The failure of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League cost the company $200 million in losses, while MultiVersus suffered a loss of $100 million. The recent release of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions also failed to make the expected impact.
