Beyond: Two Souls, one of the most remarkable productions of the gaming world, is being adapted for television: Developed by Quantic Dream and released for Sony PlayStation 3 in 2013, the game was highly acclaimed for its story and cinematic narrative. Here's what we know about the upcoming TV series...

Beyond: Two Souls TV series is coming soon!

David Cage, CEO of Quantic Dream, has officially announced that Beyond: Two Souls will be adapted into a TV series. The project will also star the famous actor Elliot Page, who plays Jodie Holmes in the game. The story follows Jodie's tragic journey from childhood to adulthood and her relationship with Nathan Dawkins, played by Willem Dafoe.

Elliot Page said in a statement that the game has been one of the most challenging and fulfilling experiences of his career. “I'm thrilled to have the chance to revitalize this character, and this story offers a deep and powerful narrative,” Page said.

Meanwhile, an incident that took place during the development of the game came to the fore again with the announcement of the series. Quantic Dream used Elliot Page's character model to create a nude model, which drew the player's reaction. Page took legal action after the incident and Sony made efforts to remove the images containing the scenes from the internet.

Beyond: Two Souls was a game that stood out for its story depth and gameplay dynamics. Compared to Quantic Dream's other cinematic games such as Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human, the game offers a more monotonous storytelling and seems to be one of the most suitable adaptations for the series format. As a matter of fact, the story of the game does not change dramatically like other Quantic Dream productions.
