Welcome to our review of Helldivers 2, one of the most interesting gaming events of recent years. PlayStation's release for both PC and PS5 players has been a smashing success in the week or so since its release.
GAAS, Game as a Service, or game as a service... It's an interesting genre. I read a good article about it years ago on a website. I think it was after Avenger's. In the article, the author described the big publishers' constant experimentation with Live Service games as “throwing spaghetti at the wall”. That's a very good expression. You have a pot of spaghetti and you throw it against the wall, one or two of them will stick to the wall. That's why Warner Bros, PlayStation, Xbox, Square Enix are constantly making Live Service games. They make millions of dollars in losses. Because in the end, if one of those spaghetti sticks to the wall, they will make a lot of money.
